Paper Pumpkin

I love getting my paper pumpkin every month.  It is always fun to be surprised.  The last one was a calendar.  I love to have calendars to keep me posted on what I am doing and what day it is.  This is going on my desk at my day job.  Love this.  I hope you enjoyed yours.  I know they sold out fast.

The Sky's the Limit

For those of you looking for stamp sets for the men and boys in your life, this is a stamp set that fits the bill.  My husband loves planes.  Especially stunt planes.  Not me.  I'd get sick with one stunt which is much less than what he likes to do.  Years ago when we lived in California he would go up with a friend and do stunts.  Many stories to tell me now.........  Back then I was not told quite as much.  But that is all fine.

Well this card is one I made using that airplane. 

It is difficult to see in the picture but there is a stream of smoke coming from the plane and I added the Happy Birthday to the end of it.  Sky writing is so fun to see.  I hope this inspired you to get this stamp set.  It is a limited time for SAB.  So order $50 of product so you can get this stamp set free.

Botanical Garden

When I first saw this stamp set in the occasions catalog I knew I had to have it.  You can get it in a spectacular bundle.  It comes with the stamp set, framelits, and Designer Series Paper!  They are so versatile. 

I love this card.  The framelit cut the edge of the front of the card.  There are so many ways to use that one framelit to make an interesting look.  I will post some more ideas in the near future.  The yellow flower is another framelit that gives that extra dimension to the flower.  I love how it can come up slightly.  Then the little white flower in the middle is another framelit.  I added a pearl to the middle just for that added little something.  Isn't that paper just beautiful?  And there are many more designs to use.  I guarantee I will be using this at more of my classes. 

My classes are scheduled.  To make it easier for everyone I have them the same times every month.

• 4 Cards for $10 is on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9am.
• That same 4 card class is also offered on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2pm.
• Doubles Card Class is $15 or Free with a $20 order that day which is always the 4th Saturday of the month at 9am.

Just for You Stamp Set

Love this stamp set.  Just for you is in the new occasions catalog.   It is so wonderful.  I love how clean it stamps.  The extra one liners are so practical.  It fits so many occasions.  I will have more to show you from this stamp set in the near future.  Come and see them at my house.

The ribbon is the new Watermelon Ribbon that is in the Occasions catalog.  I love it.  Again today I used Basic Gray as the main card.  I used Whisper White craft ink on the front for the background.  Oh yes the background stamp set............  That is a new item too.  So many new items I am having so much fun.  I hope you will join me.

Tuesday Tipster

So for Christmas I got a new ink shelf.  Oh yeah I'm loving it.  It is from Stamp n Storage.  It is made with great quality.  I love that I now can see what refill goes with what ink pad very easily.  So my ink pads have been getting reinked this past week.  What a difference it makes!  I like that my markers are also right there.  But it does not make it easy for taking to a crop or someone else's house.  So think about that for yourself. 

Well I had a little problem that I had to figure out.  That problem was I have more ink pads than the 60 slots in that shelving unit.  I have doubles of some colors because of needing them for classes.  I don't like to make people wait or find the basket with that color ink pad in it.  So I had some gift certificates for Amazon so I ordered another ink shelf to store my extra ink pads on.  Same company just this time it won't have the holes for the reinker or marker.  Just saying that you might like that one.  I will share that one when it arrives in 10 days or so.

2016 is here!

WOW where did December go.  I am back ready to stamp and share with you.

Today's card is one that I will be doing at my 4 card class this month.

This is using a stamp set from SAB (Sale a Bration).  This is a favorite time of the year.  SU has a special catalog with items that when you order $50 of SU items you can choose one item from the SAB catalog for FREE.  SAB starts this week and runs until the end of March.  Trust me when I say March comes quickly.  Place your order early.  I already have a few customers ready to go on Tuesday of this week. 

In this card I choose Basic Gray as the main card.  The next layer4 is Melon Mambo.  I used Melon Mambo and Old Olive markers to color the flowers in.  I used the fine tip of the marker.  I used Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo markers on the butterfly on the inside.
